I started my construction business framing houses in 1989. I moved to building pole barns in 2007. In 2012 I teamed up with my brother Joni and started Generational Buildings, LLC. We were dedicated to giving people an innovation of wood framed pole barns with a concrete pier system that eliminated the issue of rotting posts. The value we hold dear in being raised Amish plays an important part in who we are and how we do business. We chose years ago to not live the lifestyle but are very grateful for the values of hard work and a handshake commitment that our folks taught us and still holds true today.

I started out running a pole barn crew in 1975 for several years. I decided to take a detour from building for a few years. In 1998 I rejoined my brother LeRoy in the construction business. In 2012 we made the decision to open our own pole barn business focusing on providing people with quality buildings. I believe our business is built on hard work and honesty. I firmly believe my Amish upbringing is what instilled these values. I take pride in these values and apply them to our business every day.

I started my construction career when I was 16 years old building pole barns. I now have 15 years in the construction world including running my own concrete business for 4 years. In 2018 the Generation family brought me in as a salesman, and we brought the concrete in house as well. I am proud and grateful for being a part of the Generational Buildings Family!

I've been in the construction industry for 20 plus years. I've been with generational buildings since the office opened April 2012 in Jamesport Missouri. The owners Leroy and Joni Troyer we're looking to establish a home office to showcase a high-quality elite product and service to the pole barn building industry to it's customers. They did not want their buildings to be considered a temporary structure with wooden post buried in the ground. Their goal was to establish a permanent pole barn structure with the concrete piers system, eliminating any chance of wooden post rotting in the ground causing unsafe conditions for people and equipment. My name is Greg Brown, sales and marketing director at generational buildings, in Jamesport Missouri. If you're in the market for a Pole Barn Building or just want to learn about the concrete pier system and the quality and craftsmanship of the generational building, please call or stop by
